\"Discover<\/a>In a way, Sand Casting<\/b>, also referred as S<\/strong>and Molded Casting<\/b>, is a\u00a0metal casting\u00a0process characterized by using\u00a0sand or soft earth as the\u00a0mold\u00a0material. You\u2019ll be interested to know that over 70% of all metal castings are produced via the\u00a0sand casting process, so PullCast artisans aren\u2019t the only one using it, but we assure you that they are the ones that use it better!<\/sup><\/p>\n

There are six basic steps in this process: 1: Place a\u00a0casting in sand to create a mold; 2-\u00a0 Incorporate the casting and sand in a gating system, usually a closed box; 3 \u2013 Remove the pattern\/casting; 4- Fill the mold cavity with molten metal; 5 \u2013 Allow the metal to cool; 6 \u2013 Break away the sand mold and remove the casting. It seems easy, but you need some skill to produce the best work using this technique!<\/p>\n
