Chanel Got Inspired by Nature And Produced a Stunning Fashion Show<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 In March, Chanel<\/strong> <\/a>took over the Grand Palais, Paris, for its Fall 2018 Fashion Show. Nothing extraordinary so far, but wait until you see the setting and scenery of this show. The stage, imagined by fashion mastermind Karl Lagerfeld, was an incredible magical forest, with real live trees, foliage and moss. But the real show happened on the catwalk. With several celebrities attending the show, such as Pharrell Williams, Carla Bruni, Lilly Allen and Keira Knightly.<\/p>\n

In the end, Lagerfeld showed once again the world why Chanel is Chanel. Taking the season quite literally, the Chanel set embraced fall in every way possible\u2014from leaf-covered invitations to leaf-covered floors. Karl Lagerfeld transformed Paris\u2019 Grand Palais into a lifelike forest complete with tall trees that lined the runway and a backdrop that seemed to extend the Chanel forest infinitely.<\/p>\n

Lagerfeld muses including Carla Bruni, Lily Allen and Keira Knightley all sat front row at the Fall 2018 show. Notably missing this season were Chanel regulars Lily-Rose Depp, Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams.<\/p>\n

As for the collection itself, models paraded through piles of leaves in an astounding total of 80 fall-ready looks that varied from Chanel\u2019s classic tweed to fur coats, black lace gowns and oversized scarves.<\/p>\n

While the show opened with an array of predominantly neutral looks in shades of black and grey, bright hues of blue, orange and pink were woven into the collection in the form of fingerless opera-length gloves and scarves.<\/p>\n

The final twelve looks all featured black lace dresses paired with colorful statement-making gloves done in bright, unexpected shades of leather. Amongst those in the contrasting look was supermodel-in-the-making Kaia Gerber, who hit the runway in a black lace mini dress, pink leather gloves and mismatched earrings featuring the brand\u2019s double C logo.<\/p>\n

But in these fashion show, the clothes took the back seat against the creativity and the quality of the show itself. A good example of how a creative idea can easily revamp a simple event!<\/p>\n
