He was raised in Japan and this country really shaped his style as an architect and designer through religion and other cultural aspects.\u00a0Ando\u2019s<\/a> architectural style is said to create a \u201chaiku\u201d effect, emphasizing nothingness and empty space to represent the beauty of simplicity. He favors designing complex spatial circulation while maintaining the appearance of simplicity.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n 1993 \u2013\u00a0Fumihiko Maki \u2013 <\/b>Maki is a Legend of Architecture. Currently, with 90 Years Old, Maki is still working and he still teaches the Principles of Architecture at\u00a0Keio University!\u00a0In 1993 he received the\u00a0Pritzker Prize\u00a0for his life\u2019s work, which often explores pioneering uses of new materials and fuses the cultures of east and west.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n 2010 \u2013 Kazuyo Sejima<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Ryue Nishizawa\u00a0\u2013<\/strong><\/em> These top Japanese architects\u00a0founded the firm\u00a0SANAA<\/a>\u00a0(Sejima and Nishizawa and Associates) in 1995 and, since then, they have been presenting stellar projects with a global magnitude. Known for designs with clean\u00a0modernist\u00a0elements such as slick, clean, and shiny surfaces made of glass, marble, and metals this Japanese Duo are definitely Top Stars in their field.
