One of the biggest attractions of Milan Design Week\u2019s tribute to Leonardo DaVinci was the expo \u201cAQUA, The Vision Of Leonardo<\/em>\u00a0\u201c, an installation by set designer and artist\u00a0Marco Balich.<\/p>\n

This immersive installation celebrates the originality of Leonardo da Vinci \u2018s studies, and it includes a cabinet of curiosities under the structure where visitors are able to experience the energy of water in an autonomous environment. A stunning art tribute to the Master of Painting that was certainly one of the biggest highlights of the whole event!<\/p>\n

Like we\u2019ve told you, beneath this structure, inside the canal itself, is a\u00a0wunderkammer\u00a0(cabinet of curiosities) where visitors can experience all the beauty, energy and shape of water, enfolded in image and sound thanks to the use of cutting-edge technology, in a totally self-contained environment.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Salone del Mobile 2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0installation in Pavilion 24 also celebrates DaVinci\u2019s work and especially his legacy to the art of\u00a0design and craftsmanship<\/strong><\/em>, a theme that is more fundamental to the world of design than ever before. Named DE-SIGNO, this installation was definitely one of the Highlights of Salone del Mobile. This expo represents the art of Italian design before and after Leonardo! It showcases an atmospheric narration of\u00a0Leonardo da Vinci<\/strong><\/em>\u2019s genius and his links to\u00a0contemporary Italian design<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
