In this second edition,\u00a0PAD G\u00e8neve<\/strong>\u00a0opened its doors to the world and showcased, once again, a strong world of art, beauty and creativity. This event was the first\u00a0design exhibition<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0modern art<\/strong>\u00a0fair totally devoted to\u00a0contemporary furniture<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0decorative arts\u00a0<\/strong>of the year.<\/p>\n

\"WhatEach of the\u00a0contemporary art galleries<\/strong>\u00a0that were present in this\u00a0art fair<\/strong>\u00a0was focused in a specific time period, style or collection of individual designers. Beside this, this\u00a0art and design<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0exhibition unlocked windows of opportunities for both new and established collectors to discover the evolution of historic and\u00a0contemporary design<\/strong>\u00a0and also for the\u00a0creative works<\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0emerging artists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"What<\/a>One of the highlights was the\u00a0Herv\u00e9 Van der Straeten Gallery,\u00a0a\u00a0<\/strong>top exhibitor that\u00a0created a dialogue between\u00a0Design and Contemporary Art<\/strong>. From the moment this gallery opened, the designer\u00a0Herv\u00e9 Van der Straeten<\/strong>\u00a0has invited artists to exhibit their works alongside his own creations. During\u00a0PAD G\u00e8neve<\/strong>, it was possible to see all the wonderful\u00a0creative works<\/strong>\u00a0with an\u00a0exclusive design<\/strong>\u00a0by recognized and\u00a0emerging artists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From the US came TODD MERRILL.\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>The innovative program offered by this\u00a0contemporary art gallery<\/strong>\u00a0presented a diverse group of artists working today each sharing an underlying drive to push the materials that comprise their works to their absolute aesthetic limits. Their dynamic, unique, and frequently groundbreaking pieces contributed to today\u2019s increasingly relevant grey space between\u00a0art and design<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The last highlight belongs to Latham Gallery. Since 1981, the\u00a0Latham Gallery<\/strong>\u00a0is specialized in the\u00a0decorative arts<\/strong>\u00a0of the twentieth century, the gallery is located in the heart of cultural and financial Geneva. During\u00a0PAD G\u00e8neve<\/strong>, it was one of the most appreciated\u00a0contemporary art galleries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
